Our Story
Baida was born from a simple need - to wear something that truly felt like us.
We come from a big Moroccan family, originally from the mountains of Beni Gerfet, and raised in Tangier, Morocco. Growing up with five sisters, fashion was always part of our daily life. Fabrics, textures, and silhouettes were everywhere around us - not as trends, but as a language of expression, identity, and care.
We were raised in a religious, value-driven home, where modesty was never about restriction, but about elegance, dignity, and confidence. Yet as we grew older, we realized that clothing reflecting these values - modest, feminine, modern, and well-made - was not always easy to find.
Too often, we had to compromise.
What we were looking for simply didn’t exist.
So instead of settling, we decided to create it.
Behind this decision stands the woman who raised us - our mother.
Only later did we truly understand how difficult it was for her to raise such a big family. She never showed her tiredness, never complained, and always carried herself with strength and grace. Her resilience, patience, and quiet elegance shaped us more than we realized at the time.
Her last name is Baida - and that is where our brand takes its name.
Baida is our way of honoring her, our roots, and the values she passed on to us. Every piece is designed with intention: to feel modest yet modern, comfortable yet refined, simple yet powerful.
Baida is not just a clothing brand.
It is a story of family, heritage, and women who carry strength.
